Today’s post is going to be sort of short and to the point. I just wanted to touch base with you all and talk about the new year.
I’m not making any resolutions this year. I mean, come on… what’s the point?
What about you? Did you make any?
I’ve just got one goal — to be healthy. I’m hoping that involves losing weight, but I would settle for just being healthy.
No more gluten, no more dairy, no more putting crap in my body. I’m going to go back to exercising daily (P90x!) and try to love it again. Because right now, Tony Horton is the bane of my existence. Just the thought of Ab Ripper makes me want to cry.
What does this mean for the blog?
Hopefully, it will mean a lot more gluten free, healthy recipes that I can share with you. I may start sharing more about my fitness goals and weight loss — assuming there is any! 🙂
Also, I was thinking about starting a new series about what I ate gluten free — especially when I am on vacation in a new city. We have plans right now to visit Montreal and Quebec, Canada and Boston, Massachusetts on a cruise, and I’m thinking that will be a good place to start. I know how hard it is to find great restaurants when you are on vacation to eat at, especially if you have celiac disease. So, I thought it might be helpful to share with you some of my experiences of eating gluten free while travelling.
Side Note: If you are travelling to Pittsburgh anytime soon, Mandy’s Pizza — go there. You won’t be disappointed. Just delicious!
So, that’s my plan. I’m still going to be posting a lot of home projects and DIYs, but there will hopefully be more recipes filtered into the mix. Let me know if there is anything you guys would like to see!!
