Fall decorating is quite the conundrum for me.
I want to do it (and I enjoy doing it), but no one but us really gets to see it since we don’t generally have Thanksgiving at our house. Also, you work so hard on it and before you know it, it’s time to take it all down and decorate for Christmas.
To top it all off, you realize at the beginning of October that you need some supplies and if you visit the stores all the fall decorations are picked over and the Christmas stuff is out and in full swing!!
It sort of makes you feel like it’s just not worth the effort. Huh? So, I usually don’t put a lot of effort into it and just decorate a couple of rooms (usually just the dining room and family room).
That’s why I wanted to share with you this easy wreath that you can literally put together in like 15 minutes. Mine is for fall, but you could actually do this for any season with the right floral accents.
What are you going to need for this project?
a grapevine wreath
various floral picks of your choice (I used about 7)
First, I started out with my grapevine wreath and floral picks. All you want to do is decide on how you want your floral “bunch” to look and start sticking the picks into the wreath. If you stick them in at the right angle, the grapevine will hold the floral picks in place.
Then, I created this fall banner on my computer, printed it out, and cut out each triangle. Next, you’ll want to punch holes in the corners and string them onto a piece of twine.
Tie the twine to the wreath at your desired position. And, you’re done.
Yes, I’m serious. I told you it was easy.
Look for my fall home tour in a blog post next week!
