A few years ago, an antique mall opened near our house. It was one of those places that I had always intended to visit but just never got around to it (and quite honestly for the longest time I couldn’t figure out where it was actually located).
Since this week was my birthday and I had some extra time (and I’m shopping for a few new projects), I decided to treat myself with a little time browsing the treasures I could find at The Depot at Gibson Mill Antique Mall in Concord. And, to top it all off, I decided to bring you guys along with me!!
If you are in the Charlotte area, I HIGHLY recommend checking this place out. Have you ever been to a store and when you walk in you’re immediately enamored with EVERYTHING and you want it ALL? Yeah, that’s how I felt when I walked into this place!!
Yeah, I’m pretty sure I’m lost…
You might not know this about me, but I have a degree in History and I am a huge History buff. I was so interested in every piece and wanted to know the story. Who wore this Letterman’s sweater, those old boots, and these baby shoes? So cool!
I walked past a booth filled with old LPs and the 45 box was open to this one. I think it’s a sign…
This almost came home with me… but, alas, I held back.
So… much… fabric… Must resist!
Hope you enjoyed coming along with me to the antique mall! Did you see anything you couldn’t live without?
