Now that my baking cabinet is organized and working for me, I thought it was time to tackle our spice cabinet (which is a nice name.. it was more of a catch all).
So, where do you go when you need a bunch of organization items? Dollar Tree, of course!
For the spice cabinet, I have had this problem where I can’t find something, so I go buy more. Then, I have a ton of salt (for example) taking up way too much space in the cabinet. When I saw these little jars, I knew that I could use them to store some of our spices that I had accumulated way too much of.
Just a note, I had to check each one before I bought them, because some of the lids had lost their suction and weren’t staying on well.
I also picked up a pack of these labels (but didn’t end up using them). Once I got them home, I realized that they were too big and didn’t fit between the raised areas on the jar. I ended up just using my regular label maker. I’m sure these won’t go to waste!
Here they are filled with spices…
And, in the cabinet…
Now, you and I both know I didn’t go into the Dollar Tree looking for organization items and only came out with five little jars. I also spied these lovelies and knew they would work wonders to help me get better organized in my craft closet.
The labels I used on these came from the Dollar Spot at Target.
The lighter colored storage containers were a little too wide for my shelves, but I can make good use of those somewhere else in the house.
Have you found any great organization helpers at the Dollar Tree? I’d love to hear about your finds!
