Our kitchen faucet. Ugh.
I can’t hate on it too much. I mean, I am the one that sat in the design center when we were building the house and chose it. At the time, it seemed fabulous.
Now, it’s lost its luster. And it leaks… a lot.
So, when this faucet arrived, I literally squealed with excitement!
The model I received for review is the Pfister Indira kitchen faucet (Thanks! So generous!). It’s a little more contemporary than I would have picked out myself. However, I’m glad it’s forcing me to step out of my comfort zone because I am absolutely in love with it.
I couldn’t wait to bust it out of the box. And, yeah, I tried to install it myself. After about an hour of frustration, I decided it was time to call in the professionals.
Come to find out, even the professionals had problems. He must have gone out to his truck about ten times to get a different tool. Most of the problems he had were with removing our old faucet. That thing did not want to budge. However, after he was done, he did say that the new faucet was one of the most complicated ones he’s ever installed.
First off, let’s look at it. Really look at it. It’s a work of art. So beautiful!
This is the first faucet I have ever had with the pull out spray, and I really like it. It pulls out easy and goes right back to where it should be without any problems. There is a weight attached to the hose underneath the sink that helps the hose to return, and the faucet head clicks easily back into place.
There is a switch behind the faucet head to switch between the straight water flow and the spray.
The only problem I’m having (and it has nothing really to do with the faucet) is when I’m using the sprayer, I get a lot of overspray. I’m pretty sure it’s because the faucet is so tall and my sink is a little shallow. So, I guess I’ll have to get a new sink now. 😉
Overall, you can probably tell that I really love it. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a new faucet. The overall quality is amazing and I’m sure I’ll have this faucet for a long time to come!
