I’ve finally gotten to work on moving my craft area into our old guest room, and I’m already super excited about having so much more room to work! My first step was to paint that room!
I didn’t want to spend too much, so I scoured the “oops” paint at Lowe’s all over town and finally found a neutral color for the walls. The best part? (besides it only being $9 for a gallon) It was a paint/primer combo that was a high-hiding formula! I was really stoked to find this, because I knew otherwise it was going to be a bear to cover those stripes!
The color I picked up was marked as being Glidden’s Water Chestnut 30YY 62/127. Not as taupe-y as I wanted, but it will do!
Let’s get to painting!
It was a little disheartening to paint over those stripes that I spent so much time on, but that was years ago and it was time for a change.
Here’s the before…
And the after…
I feel like I can be so much more creative with a blank, neutral slate on the walls. Now, on to sorting and moving the furniture in!
