Spring travel season is upon us, and before you know it, it’ll be time for all those summer vacations!!
I cannot wait to be on vacation! Soon… very soon.
With that in mind, I’ve created a set of two printable luggage tags to help you identify your luggage in that sea of black on the airport baggage claim belt.
These two luggage tags are designed to work with the self-sealing laminated pouches. I got two sets — a set of three from Travelon that I got at Stein Mart for $3.99 and then I found a set of five from Scotch from K-Mart for a little over $5 (but I’ve seen this brand multiple places).
First, you’ll need to print the PDF file on card stock paper.
Cut out the two luggage tags on the cut lines, and fold down the center on the fold line. I used a ruler along the fold line and folded against it to make it a little easier.
Place folded paper between the two sheets, remove self-adhesive paper from inside and press the laminate sheets together to seal. These instructions are also printed in the pack of laminating sheets that you get.
Attach the loop to the tag or use something fun like ribbon or chain to attach the luggage tag to your suitcase or carry on bag.
Alternatively, you can use large laminating sheets. Cut them out leaving a small edge (maybe 1/4″) of lamination to keep it together. Then, you can use a small hole punch to create a place to string through something to attach the tag to your luggage.
Enjoy and Happy Travels!!
